A carer's and an elderly woman's hands resting together
About us

One team, one shared goal.

More time for care.

Finance, care and product: we came from different paths, but the same question drives us. How could we make eldercare more humane and more transparent in everyday life?

The team

The people behind the system

Three backgrounds, one shared intent. Click a name for a fuller introduction.

Portrait of János Kulcsár
Chief Operating Officer (COO)

János Kulcsár

János has owned and managed a residential care home for over a decade. Day to day he sees the challenges carers face with documentation, shift handovers and administrative load, and where the current paper-based system slows the quality of care. That direct, everyday knowledge is what makes the needs analysis behind AltiCare credible.

On the team he is the domain expert: analysing care processes, clinical validation and folding in user feedback are his responsibility. He is the one who can explain to the developers why an end-of-shift summary matters, what a real care workflow looks like, and where colleagues get stuck with existing systems in practice.

In AltiCare he champions the principle that shapes the whole development: that the system should be driven by the real, everyday needs of care, not by what the technology can do.

Portrait of Marcell Ferenczi
Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Marcell Ferenczi

Marcell started his career as a financial modeller and M&A advisor, then moved into the IT industry, gaining enterprise experience as head of sales and business development for cloud and AI-based solutions at HexaIO. With an MSc in Finance, he works across financial planning, business modelling and growth strategy. He has worked in several industries, including health technology.

At AltiCare he is responsible for business strategy and financial modelling, and also owns regulatory compliance. He plays an active role in aligning the technical specification with domain knowledge: he mediates between the development team and the care experts.

His experience means he understands how to take a complex healthcare product from design to market in a way that meets the demands of the regulatory environment and creates real value for facilities.

Portrait of Márton Péter Hopp
Chief Product Officer (CPO)

Márton Péter Hopp

Márton began his career as a software engineer at Knorr-Bremse, where for three years in an industrial setting he learned what it means to build reliable, regulated software. He then spent two years at startups. On the ARport Navigation and OrbitalChamp teams he worked on product design, development, business development and sales.

At AltiCare he owns the product's journey from concept to market launch: designing the user experience and interface, building the brand identity, business analysis, testing and regulatory compliance. He mediates between the development team and the care experts, fitting technical possibilities to the real needs of care practice.

He is driven by the conviction that care software only has value if every element on the screen starts from real institutional workflows, not from what the technology makes possible.
